Izzy FarberIrving Farber has been practicing law for almost forty years. He is one of the original founders of Farber Robillard Leith LLP and has been its managing partner for thirty-five years. Throughout the years, Mr. Farber has represented tens of thousands of clients in a variety of legal matters related to commercial and residential real estate, corporate, wills and estate planning.
In addition to the practice of law, Izzy continues to devote himself to teaching Ontario Real Estate Association courses to realtors which he has done for well over thirty-seven years. He also regularly provides legal seminars to realty, mortgage and insurance companies and provides golf tips to those interested.
John RobillardJohn is a seasoned veteran with over 20 years experience in Real Estate Law (Residential and Commercial Real Estate Law), Estate Planning and Wills, and Corporate Law.
John has a passion for teaching. In addition to being an accredited instructor for the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), John teaches at an Ottawa community college and coaches junior hockey.
David LeithDavid was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997 and brings a wealth of experience in the areas of Real Estate Law (Residential and Commercial Real Estate Law) in Ottawa and Estate Planning and Wills.
David prides himself on providing his clients with excellent customer service with a personal touch. When not in the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa, daughter Sydney and son Zachary.
Michael Thomas BrownA graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, Mike was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2010. Michael's practice focuses primarily on representing and providing advice to clients on purchase and sale, financing and other real estate transactions as well as estates and wills. He also assists clients with business law matters such as lease review and drafting, development proposals and incorporations.
In 2003, Mike was elected as one of Eastern Ontario's youngest municipal councillors for the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley. As a councillor, Mike reviewed, debated and voted on by-laws, budgets, proclamations, resolutions, and staff and committee recommendations. Mike brings to the firm a rare depth of experience arising from his unique background in municipal politics and environmental affairs. These, in addition to Michael's other aptitudes, have proven invaluable to his clients. His in-depth understanding of such matters provides clarity and direction to clients in the fog of bureaucratic restrictions, typical in any real estate transaction.
Mike continues to serve on various municipal boards and committees for the City of Ottawa. When Mike is not in the office, he enjoys travelling around the Ottawa Valley with his wife Angela and visiting his extended family in Brockville.
